How do I set a security deposit?

You can easily set up a deposit via Bookings & Prices by adding a deposit charge, specifying the amount and payment date, and clicking ‘Save’.

Step by step

   Step 1: Go to your dashboard.

   Step 2: Click Bookings & Pricing in the menu.

   Step 3: Click Costs/Services.

   Step 4: Click Add cost/service.

   Step 5: Enter the name of the cost, for example "Borg" in Dutch ("Security deposit" in English). Translate from Dutch fills in the other languages.

   Step 6: Under Valid from, choose when the security deposit starts to apply. Leave it empty if it always applies.

   Step 7: Under Valid until, choose until when it applies. Leave it empty for no end date.

   Step 8: Under Cost type, choose Security deposit.

   Step 9: Under When to pay?, choose when the security deposit has to be paid.

    Step 10: Enter the security deposit amount under Price.

    Step 11: Tick Mandatory? so the security deposit is added to every booking.
